Eyepiece selector

Widefield eyepieces from Pentax that have replaced the much respected XL series. 40mm and 30mm are 2" barrel size, all others are 1.25". All now have 70 degree apparent fields, excellent edge of field performance, parfocal, adjustable eyecup positioning and fully multi-coated. Many astronomers prefer the performance of these eyepieces over other widefield designs. There are polarized opinions on the XWs and the Televue Panoptics.
