Professional Hardware from SIMDAMost of the projectors are intended for the non-professional market. If the projector is needed to run almost continuously, day in day out, then something stronger is required. And when purchasing for a lecturer, you'll possibly need a 'Carousel-type' rotary trayed projector. The SIMDA's accept the rotary trays that are an industry standard. However, this quality of build does not come cheap, and if you are really not going to use the projector very often then maybe you should consider the less costly options. The body, like all good professional projectors, is solid and reliable. The lamp is more powerful than that Braun and Kindermanns (and the earlier Kodak Carousel range) giving you a choice between 300-watt and 400-watt illumination. There are usually two lamps within the projector, with the second as a backup should the first blow. The lens barrel diameter is the standard professional 52.5mm diameter. The range is fully comprehensive, offering the sophistication necessary for event controlling and similar facilities when used in conjunction with appropriate equipment. THESE MACHINES ARE BODY ONLY - lenses extra. |
