Client attended Telecine per 30mins of Lab time - £100.00

Attended Telecine is by arrangement only and takes place on site at The Widescreen Centre, 47 Dorset Street, London, W1U 7ND. The Client attending will be able to instruct our technician on their grade. Only the attended time is charged for in blocks of 30mins. We do not charge for the time it takes to lay off the job to tape.
*Please note the client is only able to instruct the technician and not in anyway allowed to operate the equipment.

For Applemac users we now ouput Super-8 as 1920 x 1080 HD Quicktime files for use in editing software such as Final Cut Pro & iMovie HD.

Shooting Super-8 for HD requires the camera operator to either film with an anamorphic lens or to frame the subject with a 6th more top and bottom within the 4.3 frame in order for the image to be cropped before outputting to the new ratio.

4:3 frame Super-8 images that are converted to HD 16.9 ratio lose 1/6th of the image top and bottom of the frame.

Please also note that iMovie HD or Final Cut Pro projects must be set up for HD use before using HD Quicktime files as the aspect ratio for the viewers must be 16:9 ratio.

Super-8 transfer to HD (1920 x 1080) quicktime files are supplied on DVD.
