All the Mewlon telescopes can be equipped with a focal reducer, also acting as field flattener. This reducer makes it possible to reduce the focal length and offer a better general-purpose focal ratio.

To carry out a precise polar alignment of the Teegul Sky-Patrol III (no matter which model), Takahashi proposes this polar finder, to be fixed on the side of the mount. It is equipped with an extremely precise reticle and alignment screws.

In its initial version, the TG-SP3 can support light OTAs, like FS-60 type. If you wish to carry heavier telescope OTA, up to 3 kg, it is strongly recommended to equip Teegul with a counterweight (and counterweight shaft), in order to balance the assembly perfectly and not to force on the drive motor. Moreover, this new configuration makes it possible to obtain a better clearance on both axes, in particular to reach the zenith point.

The elevation adjustment of Teegul mount during the polar alignment procedure is carried out either by adjusting the height of the tripod leg on which the mount is fixed, or by regulating the elevation of this adjustable adapter. It is equipped with a Kodak screw at its base and on top. A knurled with socket head screw makes it possible to block the elevation when the alignment is finished.

This equatorial wedge offers a fix slope of 45°; the additional adjustment with the latitude of the location is carried out by acting on the height of the tripod leg on which mount is fixed. The main advantage is the extreme stability of the assembly, without any flexion, which allows the use of mount in real equatorial mode (with counterweight) up to its maximum loading capacity.

Teegul can be easily converted into photographic equatorial mount using this support. It will replace the base usually used for the installation of the tube ring. It thus becomes possible to carry out images, without guiding, with SLR/DSLR or CCD cameras equipped with short focal length lenses. This is ideal for amateurs of constellations and stellar wide fields.

The tube holder for FSQ-106ED is essential for the fixing of the tube on a mounting. It has the 2 holes for fixing on Takahashi mountings as well as Kodak screw pitch for fixing on a photo tripod (not recommanded however). Moreover, it is equipped with a Kodak screw intended to receive a SLR/DSLR camera for a parallel connection.
An auxiliary plate is provided to allow a satisfying balance of the optical tube on mountings.

The FSQ-106ED can be equipped with a focal reducer, making pass focal ratio from 5 to 3.6. The focal length goes then from 530mm to 385mm (with an image circle of 44mm and a photo field of 6,5°). The accessory assemblies compatible with the Reducer-QE are available in the specific system-chart above.

Extender-Q 1.6x is a specific accessory suitable for the FSQ-106ED, whose role is not limited to a simple Barlow lens. Indeed, it makes it possible the refractor to keep optical properties closed to the traditional Takahashi refractors equipped with more general-purpose Fluorite doublet or ED triplet: more focal length, reduction of the under-correction for astrophotography and visual contrast enhancement.

The tube holder for FS-60 is essential for the fixing of the tube on a mounting or guidance systems TGM. It has the 2 holes for fixing on Takahashi mountings as well as Kodak screw pitch for fixing on a photo tripod. Moreover, it is equipped with a Kodak screw intended to receive a SLR/DSLR camera for a parallel connection.

This flattener allows photographers to obtain a perfectly flat field at prime focus. Its use is strongly recommended for wide-field imaging. Note however that it increases focal ratio very slightly, from 5.9 to 6.2. The corrector is screwed at prime focus of the refractor. See the main system-chart for his implementation.

To lengthen the focal distance of the FS-60, you can equip it with the Extender-C2X. It can be used at the same time into visual and imaging purposes. See the specific system-chart for the various assemblies.

The camera angle adjuster is a device that allows you to turn the accessories installed at prime focus of the OTA, in particular cameras for framing. This accessory has to be screwed before all the others at FS-60 prime focus. Its use is imperative for the photo assemblies (see the general system-chart for more details).
