The long-awaited PST CaK version of this popular Solar-Viewing telescope has arrived at Widescreen. It is based on the hugely successful Hydrogen-alpha PST but instead isolates the Calcium K (CaK) wavelength of light. This deeper cooler level of the chromosphere is where you can image the gathering and dispersing of the Suns magnetic lines. It is now possible to capture detail previously thought of as impossible at this fascinating wavelength. The solar image is blue in colour. 

It is supplied with one eyepiece as standard.  Also available as optional extras, as shown in the  photograph are the  tabletop tripod & webcam. (Regrettably, the WIDESCREEN coffee cup is not currently on offer!)

All the accessories for the PST are compatible with this amazing new instrument.
