The equatorial dial shows the Earth situation. Basically, it has a semicircle where the equator is stated and a central stick as the representation of the terrestrial axis. Inclined properly to resist the Earth inclination, the shade of the stick shows the time in the inner part of the circle. This one is a reproduction of an equatorial dial made in Italy in the Renaissance (XVI century).
