LOREO Lubot DISTORTION-FREE. Ideal for close-up photography and examination of Stamps, Clothe, Jewellery, Antique markings, and similar small objects where a 3-Element distortion-free MACRO lens giving a magnification of 10x is needed. Sikorsky, the inventor of the helicopter, once made the comment that: "Great ideas seem simple ONCE YOU KNOW THE ANSWERS", and nowhere could this be truer than with the new 10x, 3-Element, DISTORTION FREE aspheric loupe from LOREO. MACRO WITH virtually ANY CAMERA! Such a simple idea that gives virtually any camera - digital or conventional - the ability to produce totally distortion free macro shots seems obvious when you know how...but how many do? Just set your camera on top and pointing down to the object you wish to photograph and, Voila!, a perfect in focus enlargement is yours. SMALL, NEAT - and SIMPLE! Small and compact, the Loreo LUBOT Macro Converter offers an adjustable ±1.5 dioptre variable focusing eyepiece. The retractable, folding, legs are engraved with both metric and imperial scales and there is a protective cover to go over the 3-element lens. The Lubot, when folded, measures less than 4cm x 5cm x 4.3cm LUBOT 10x Macro Converter Truly pocket-sized dimensions. Truly pocket-sized dimensions. Truly pocket-sized dimensions. See what Angela Nicholson, of the prestigious publication 'AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHER' had to say about the LUBOT in her recent test report: "Loreo Lubot Lupe. The Lubot from Loreo is an impressive little loupe offering 10x magnification, without the goldfish-bowl distortion seen with many other budget-priced loupes, a common problem with small, inexpensive loupes is the lack of respect we pay them purely because of their affordability. They end up rattling around in a drawer or stuffed in a pocket, so after a while the optical surfaces become scratched. The Lubot is different, however because it has two folding legs and a domed cap that protect its three-element achromatic aspherical lens when not in use. In addition to their protective role, the legs fold down to stand the loupe at the correct height above a negative or print Also, they straddle a 35mm frame, so the whole width is visible without moving position. The functionality of the legs doesn't end here, as they have markings in millimetres and inches that are visible through the loupe, should you need to take measurements. The cap doubles up as a device for setting the dioptre adjustment to zero. From this point it can be varied +1.5 to -2.0 dioptres, but you will have to tweak the loupe until it suits your eyesight, rather than set it to a fixed value. I found it possible to view a whole pile of 35mm transparencies - one at a time - through the Lubot without going cross-eyed or developing a headache as I do with some loupes. In my opinion this makes it excellent value for money. Angela Nicholson - Technical Consultant"
