Delivery Information

We aim to dispatch all orders on the day of ordering or the next working day depending on the time of ordering  and we hold extensive stocks to ensure despatch right away. Usually the cut off time is 2p.m.

Delivery to Mainland UK typically takes 1-5 working days via a Carrier or Royal Mail Service. Please note Courier Services and some Royal Mail services may require a signature on delivery.

Special order items might have a longer delivery time. Please Contact Us if you are unsure or have any further questions about the delivery of your item.

If there is a delay in our dispatch of your order, we will advise you accordingly.

The Widescreen Centre will on no account be liable for any postal or other third party delays.

Posting and Packaging Rates

Mainland UK Standard Service:

Depending on the size of the item this service will be carried out by Royal Mail or by a Courier. Please allow from 2-5 working days for this delivery option.

  • packages under 0.5 kg - parcels are charged at £5. 
  • packages up to 5 kg - delivery charge is £10. 
  • packages up to 20 kg - delivery charge is £15.
  • packages over 20 kg - delivery charge is from £25.

Mainland UK Next Working Day Service:

This service will be carried out by either Royal Mail Special Delivery or a Courier Service. "Next Working Day" service applies to orders placed before 2p.m. on working days. Saturday, Sunday & public holidays in the UK are not classified as working days for the purpose of deliveries.

  • For packages under 0.5 kg - delivery charge is £8.
  • For packages up to 5 kg - delivery charge is £10.
  • For packages up to 20 kg - delivery charge is £15.
  • For packages over 20 kg - delivery charge is from £25.

Delivery to Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man:

Depending on the size of the item this service will be carried out by Royal Mail or by a Courier. Please allow from 3-7 working days for this delivery option. 

  • For packages under 0.5 kg - delivery charge is £8.
  • For packages under 2 kg - delivery charge is £15.
  • For packages up to 5 kg - delivery charge is £25.
  • For packages up to 20 kg - delivery charge is £35.
  • For packages over 20 kg - delivery charge is from £45.

Delivery to Ireland:

Depending on the size of the item this service will be carried out by International Signed For Royal Mail Service & national postal services or by a Courier. Please allow from 3-7 working days for this delivery option. 

  • For packages under 0.5 kg - delivery charge is £12.
  • For packages up to 5 kg - delivery charge is £20.
  • For packages up to 20 kg - delivery charge is £35.
  • For packages over 20 kg - delivery charge is from £45.

    Delivery to European Community (EU) countries:

    EU (European Union Countries) - This service will be carried out by International Signed For Royal Mail Service & national postal services or a Courier Service. Please allow from up to 10 working days for this delivery option. Delivery times are often sooner and depend on the country.

    • 5-10 Working Days (Airmail Europe) > from £12
    • 3-6 Working Days (EU Courier Delivery) > from £20

    It is the responsibility of the customer to provide complete and accurate contact information including address and postcode, telephone numbers, email addresses and credit card details. We will make all reasonable attempts to contact you in case of any queries about any aspect of the orders received. If we are unable to contact you we will put your order on hold until you Contact Us.

    Damaged and Missing Goods.

    Please refuse the delivery and do not sign for it in the very unlikely event that the package looks significantly damaged in transit, with the possibility of the contents being damaged.

    In the extremely unlikely event that your order is damaged in transit or not all of the items of your order are received, please Contact Us immediately and no later than 48 hours from the receipt of the goods. The Widescreen Centre will not accept any claims if you failed to notify us within the stated 48 hour period.

    In the event of non-delivery:

    • Please check your email and your account for messages from our customer support. If there is a delay in our dispatch of your order, we will advise you accordingly.
    • Please check above Delivery Schedule and allow for non working days such as weekends and bank holidays as these are not classified as working days for the purpose of deliveries.
    • Please check if you had a card notifying you of the attempted delivery by Royal Mail or a Carrier. If the attempted delivery is by Royal Mail you can request re-delivery or you can pick up from your local sorting office. If delivery has been attempted by a Courier Service you can pick up the item from your nearest depot.
    • In the unusual event of a non delivery please allow 10 working days before contacting us regarding UK Standard Service items. All non-deliveries should be reported to The Widescreen Centre within 21 days of dispatch. The Widescreen Centre won't accept any claims if you failed to notify us within the stated 21 days period.

    Signature Required Deliveries:

    Items dispatched may require a signature upon delivery. If you are not available to take your delivery you will be left a card notifying you of the attempted delivery by Royal Mail or a Carrier. If the attempted delivery is by Royal Mail you can request re-delivery or you can pick up from your local sorting office. If delivery has been attempted by a Courier Service you can pick up the item from your nearest depot. You may need identification and the attempted delivery notification when picking up an item.

    Back Orders:

    We hold extensive stocks to provide the delivery right away, however in some instances If you place an order for an item that is in high demand your order may be back ordered. If there is a delay in our dispatch of your order, we will advise you of the "due in" date for new stock.

    Alternative Delivery Addresses:

    When requesting delivery to an address other than the cardholder's address (the address the credit/debit card that was used to make the payment is registered to) we may require additional verification.

    Additional Postage Charges:

    Heavy & High Value items may incur an additional postage charge in addition to the amount charged in the Shopping Basket. We will contact you if this is applicable.
