6 elements fluorite apochromatic design, 55mm f3.6, perfect colors

Borg fluorite apochromatic refractor 55FL f3.6 PLUS uses 6-element fluorite optical design for a perfect chromatic aberration correction, generating images without false colors, contrasted and rich in details, in a large 43mm flat field to obtain pinpoint stars even with Full Frame sensors (24x36mm). Optimal back focus is 60mm from M57x0.75 female thread on the back of the focuser. The short focal length (200mm) and the fast focal ratio (3.6) make it ideal for shooting wide field extended objects.

50,8mm Feather Touch micrometric focuser

Often refractors are provided with focusers suitable only for visual use but not for photo applications. In fact, during the long exposures required by astrophotography, this type of focuser can cause camera slippage moving the sensor out of focus. For this reason Borg fluorite apochromatic refractor 55FL f3.6 PLUS comes with Feather Touch focuser that offers high load capacity, great focusing precision (thanks to a convenient 1:10 fine focus knob) without backlash: this is the perfect focuser for Primaluce SESTO SENSO robotic focusing motor! The focuser has a rear M57 thread to connect cameras by adding the proper photographic adapter.
