Spare part for blocking-filters from LUNT SOLAR SYSTEMS, suitable for B400, B500, B600, B1200 and B1800 blocking-filters.
The H-alpha telescopes and filter systems from Lunt Solar Systems each include a blocking-filter. The blocking-filters have a blue coloured filter part on the side facing the telescope. This blue coloured filter parts may become a milky white layer at older blocking-filters if the blocking-filter was stored at high air humidity for some time. Please always store H-alpha telescopes and filters as dry as possible. If this blue coloured filter part has become a milky white layer, it can be replaced with this spare part. The replacement is easy and can be done by the user himself. Installation instructions can be found here under the "Manuals" tab as a PDF for download.
Please note that this replacement part can only be used on Lunt Solar Systems blocking-filters B400 to B1800. If the problem happens with the large B3400 blocking-filter, the B3400 must be sent to our service department for repair.
